Player Availability
Player availability lets you mark a player unavailable so they’re excluded from lineup suggestions and bench tracking while they’re out.
Date-driven status
Section titled “Date-driven status”Availability is driven entirely by dates, not a per-game toggle: set the period a player is out and a reason, and their status updates on its own for every game or practice that falls inside that window. Use Mark Available to end the period early if a player comes back sooner than expected.
When to use it
Section titled “When to use it”- A player is injured
- A player can’t attend for a stretch of games or practices
- A player is out for any other reason you want tracked
How it looks
Section titled “How it looks”A player who is out shows a muted, grayscale photo across the roster, lineups, and dugout — but their name, number, and stats stay at full strength, so they’re still easy to identify at a glance.
How it affects bench fairness
Section titled “How it affects bench fairness”Unavailable players are excluded from the bench fairness calculation. Only available players are considered when Dugout Master suggests who should sit each inning.
