General
Section titled “General”Can I use Dugout Master offline?
Section titled “Can I use Dugout Master offline?”Yes. Once you open a game while online, it’s cached on your device. You can manage the lineup board without an internet connection. Changes sync automatically when you reconnect.
Does Dugout Master work for softball?
Section titled “Does Dugout Master work for softball?”Yes. Dugout Master supports both baseball and softball. The field diagram and position keys are the same across both sports.
Can multiple coaches use the same team at the same time?
Section titled “Can multiple coaches use the same team at the same time?”Yes. If two coaches are on the same team, they both see live updates on the lineup board. Changes made by one coach are reflected in real time for the other.
Where did the search boxes go?
Section titled “Where did the search boxes go?”Search now lives in one place: the Command Palette (⌘K on desktop, Ctrl+K on Windows, or the search icon on mobile). It jumps straight to any player, game, drill, or page from anywhere in the app, replacing the old per-page search boxes on Roster, Games, Drills, Notes, and Tryouts. See the Dashboard overview.
Can I mute alerts without losing haptic feedback?
Section titled “Can I mute alerts without losing haptic feedback?”Yes. The Sound & Haptics settings page lets you mute practice alerts — handy in a loud gym — without losing the vibration you rely on to feel timer changes and drill transitions.
Roster
Section titled “Roster”Can I import players from GameChanger?
Section titled “Can I import players from GameChanger?”Yes, via CSV export from GameChanger. Go to Roster → Import → GameChanger CSV. This is a Pro feature.
What happens to a player’s history if I remove them from a season?
Section titled “What happens to a player’s history if I remove them from a season?”Removing a player from a season roster doesn’t delete them. Their historical game data is preserved. They simply won’t appear in new lineups for games in that season.
Can I add the same player to multiple teams?
Section titled “Can I add the same player to multiple teams?”No. A player profile belongs to one team. If a player is on two teams (common in club/school situations), they need separate profiles on each team.
Can I track things like exit velocity or 60-yard dash times?
Section titled “Can I track things like exit velocity or 60-yard dash times?”Yes. Dugout Master has a built-in Player Metrics feature covering Speed, Hitting, Arm, and Physical measurements, with trend charts and personal-best tracking on each player’s page. See Player Metrics.
Can I export my roster?
Section titled “Can I export my roster?”Yes, as CSV or PDF from any roster view’s ··· menu — it respects whatever filters you have applied. This is a Pro feature. See Roster Import & Export.
Games and Lineups
Section titled “Games and Lineups”Can I duplicate a game?
Section titled “Can I duplicate a game?”Yes. Open the game menu (···) and tap Duplicate Game. The new game copies over the batting order, innings, and warm-up drills. The result and date are reset.
What’s the difference between a scrimmage and a regular game?
Section titled “What’s the difference between a scrimmage and a regular game?”Scrimmages are excluded from your season W–L–T record. Everything else (lineup, result, notes) works the same way.
Can I print the lineup?
Section titled “Can I print the lineup?”Yes. Open the Game Plan view for the whole-game sheet (batting order plus every inning’s positions and bench) and tap Print or Download PDF. Any other view prints from the game menu’s Print action. Every printout includes a QR code that reopens the same view on a phone. See Game Viewer & Printing.
Can I track pitch counts?
Section titled “Can I track pitch counts?”Yes, once you set a max pitch count on the season (or override it per game). Tap the Pitcher position badge during a game to log pitches — Dugout Master warns you as a pitcher approaches the limit. See Pitch Count Tracking.
Can I attach a note to a specific game?
Section titled “Can I attach a note to a specific game?”Yes, via the game menu’s Add Note. You can tag players from the game so the note also shows up on their player page. This is a Pro feature — see Game Notes.
The batting order disappeared — what happened?
Section titled “The batting order disappeared — what happened?”The batting order is tied to the game. If you’re viewing a different game or the page didn’t load fully, navigate back to the game and it should appear. If you’re offline and the game wasn’t cached, you’ll need to reconnect.
Billing
